All Animals Speak In Vowels At The Bloody End

by Jersey D Gibson

Something efforted is something gained
as long as you ignore that big bright bloodstain.
Curiosity is an emotion only for the emotionally dead,
pipeline to your inner thoughts, a shotgun barrel to the head.

Metaphorically speaking, the turning world always sends you on a tailspin,
in a busy intersection, it is always the blind walker who wins.
As effortless as a clutch/break/gas pedal in a traffic jam,
Radio America broadcasts celebrity glam.

Push yourself further than you've ever known,
like a super secret spy whose cover has been blown.
Hearld the Apocalypse, but take time to make tea,
in glorifying you, it was really all about...

Love how you maintain the rhyme in such a specific shape. Stunning.
