In the Distant

by Keith D Allison

A single leaf
breaking free
flattering to the ground
to be a part of history

The sparkle of the eye
the smell of the sable
a smile
that made the music of the night

Blue and white
a silk knotted tie
the smell of the sea
oh those distant memories

I like this very much...its organics blend with those things that grow cold and are left behind, maybe it is the last lesson of modern love, that the highest simplicity of structure is produced, not by just a few elements, but by the highest complexity. Delighted. Thanks.
