I'm not sure
what it is about
being called
“sensitive”
that has me
bothered so.

Maybe
I'm just too sensitive.

Ha.

Maybe being called it
wouldn't have been bad
had I not also been coined
“just a dude”
as per the reasoning
behind not liking
the context and delivery
of dialogue
in a stupid movie, or 3.

So, I'm either just another
guy
you have no problem
hanging with
for your own selfish reasons.

Of which I have long
understood.

Or you find romance
in a man
a weakness.

That is something
I cannot tolerate.

Perhaps men aren't
chivalrous beings
but they certainly
weren't alone
in slaying it.

I've tried to maintain
sanity
while hopelessly
anticipating that one day
I'll find all that
I have been looking for.

I know I get stuck
in my own head.

Just imagine
living with it
for a day.

I think I'll start a group:
“Sensitives Anonymous.”

“SA” for short.

Not only am I
the President,
I'm also a member.
