imminent
percussive
rain

scented
its
vicinity i
discarded

coffee
cup
opted
to
breakfast
on
cohesion
and
sustaining

capriciousness

love the form and the words, how they suck you in and at the end dance in your mind. love it.

I must say what struck me right at the end of the poem was "ma. Have you taken Chinese? My first wife took a fair amount while working toward her Phd in Political Science. Her instructor was Mrs Ma. But the word ma in Chinese has at least four different meanings depending upon how is pronounced. Thanks for the write and the memory.
