it's really a secret, the words i share here,
the things i write only on bathroom mirrors,
but i write them knowing you'll read them,
knowing you won't twist this,
turn that,
and find something to be angry about;

i write them because i have to,
because it would swell inside and die
and the only thing inside me that should be dead
are old memories.
