is what you call me
and i know it has been difficult for
ex-lovers to accept this about me,
to accept that sometimes i need things
they cannot provide;

i have my ways, my
moments of feeling alone
but you accept all of it,
you think my snoring is like purring
and find all of it comforting.

you
take all of it and find ways
to make me feel as though there is nothing
i can do to make you leave
and i feel these things so far within
that i sometimes have problems breathing
when you're around
and it's never a bad thing.
