She Said I Had Too Much Angst for Her

after perusing online, my pretty pages of poetry.
Sometimes I feel that I must concur,
though that couldn't actually be me, really?
I told her she was too old for me, too aged,
though I am quite sure that I was at least polite.
I guess I got what I really deserved
and somehow, things managed to turn out right. 10/14/2011 Author's Note: ... from a baaaaad date, many years ago......
