Now I realize

by Marjorie Anne Reagan

Like the first sweet time you greeted me,
waving me over to the old gingerbread house.
Up on the bridge less than thirty days before your
departure.

I kept seeing you,
Wave at me from a white van.

The same way you did when you spied me,
driving down the road.
Motioning for me to come over.

About twenty days later
the warmth that rushed through me.
Still gives me pause.......

"Honey I have a warm feeling not sure
what it means but I know it's him.
Something is up with my dear man."

All I know is it was the afternoon,
if I recall about 1:30pm.
Still gives me shivers and warms my heart
all at once.

10-11-10 12:30 pm
given the time differance
it was the same here.

I do not know
really if you were waving goodbye
or hello?

If you were going
or going somewhere to wait...
and meet me later
once again?

What happened to make me see you wave.
It was you! It was. This I know.
The special way you always leaned out the window.
You always waved for me to come......toward you.
Your hair blowing in the breeze the white shirt.
It WAS you!

Perhaps the top of the bridge is symbolic
is that where you will meet me,
when it is my turn?

Helping me crossover?
Thats what I like to believe.
Who could blame me?

Author's Note: Sweet Mysterious and true. Just like you. Meet you on the bridge later. I hope and i am not sure when but I really do have a feeling you will meet me there. God bless you now and always. My dear man.
