Rememberies

by Joe Cramer

The clouds drifted
lazily by
on sweet summer day.
I knew less
than I ever did before,
more than I know today.
My life lay in front of me
slowly expanding
moving forward.
I know not what,
not what to expect
in all that I might have known.
Shapes shifted
in bluest of sky
through the afternoon.
I looked for them,
looked for a meaning.
All I was left with
were my thoughts,
unending.
These are my rememberies.

I often find songs will inspire me! I especially love "I knew less than I ever did before, more than I know today"
