i fold it

by Charlie Morgan

notes my favorite Uncle Don left around
on his already-cluttered desk.

it's always easier to drag a body up-town
than to drag a hand down-town.

put it on your card.

some people can't remember how many people
they've killed in their lifetime.

in a world of careful there's a a lot of bucking;
the system of science gives us an eye-blink to God.

some skeletons have not been buried, yet they have
an office, mirror on the back of the door.

i wonder what i should do with this. so, i fold it.

Everyone has skeletons in their closets. We either hide them, bury them, fold them or just thow them out and forget about it If you keep a skeleton too long, it will haunt you and take over your life. it's better just to let it go.

skeletons in the closet make for good poetry making :)
