If I were a commercial...

by Gilly Wigley

if i were a commercial i would advertise...

a love song in f minor
sung out of tune
breathy voice
cheesy choice
fumbling fingers
stumbling strings
E, A, D, missing G, B, E
skipping C# and D
dropping words two and three
awkward silence
clearing throats
lipless kissing
porch lit dim
all packaged up
in one tongue tied
twist tied
bottle of gin
