The taste of a freedom
always comes with its costs.

I happen to be born
of East Coast bloodlines
and had spent
all my years on that seaboard.

The only hard part
of this bittersweet transition
is that I am feeling
utterly happy here
but my family and friends
are 2500 plus miles away.

What is one to do
with such a quandary
such as this?
