How much tine
will I spend sitting here
waiting
for the phone
to ring?

It is a Jewish Holiday
A day when fanilies
are supposed to be
together
I am in NJ
My daughter lives about 70 miles away
She has not calle
though I realize she is
an Athiest,
she is NOT ignorant
She knows
that I miss her
My other 2 kids are
about 200 miles away'
Nobody called
I am alone
no one cares

I just heard
the anchorman
on TV say
it was Jewish New Year
A New Year?

I want my kids
to call
I want to make
a big family meal

I want to be part
of something
Not siting here alone
looking forwards to what?

Nothing?
There's got to be more

IF my parents were
alive;
we'd be together

Life has changed
not for the better

After trying
to call my daughter
5 times
in the past 24 hour
she FINALLY decided
to answer
I did not like her tone
She has no interest
in conversing
with me
....
and as for seeing her
I get the feeling
she does not care

I'm hurt
IF she needed something
she would not hesitate
to call

I feel like crying
