Abortion by Ben EvansA womb is a prison
harbouring death
life ending life
It is some dark mill
manufacturing change
and bearing becoming
Take solace in blood
broken promises
and withheld trust 09/26/2011 Posted on 09/26/2011 Copyright © 2025 Ben Evans

Posted by Joan Serratelli on 09/26/11 at 09:02 PM I really don't know how to react tro this piece.Well done, well worded, yet the 1st line makes me feel emoty. I carried 3children. For me, it was joyous, yet scarey. I do not view my womb as a prisin. No, my kids did =not have any say in their conceptiion, bbt as far as I am concerned, they were ALL very much WANTEDD.
An Abortion is a serious decision. I do not judge anyone. We ALL have our own morals and values and no, one is not a "murderer" because she decides to abort. |

Posted by Laura Doom on 10/02/11 at 01:20 PM How bleak is this? Provocative use of industrial analogy, an unadorned piece with oxymoronic tendencies, completely in accord with this (vicarious) theme. |
