kelp medusa by Jennifer Truesdalesea salt tangles
cast myself out.
you reel me in,
swollen tissue
and broken limbs.
I am out of the forest,
my mind thick with thoughts
that i try to break in the waves,
forming fingerprints in the sand
where I could not hold on
no matter how hard you pulled.
I let go. 09/25/2011 Posted on 09/25/2011 Copyright © 2025 Jennifer Truesdale
