It is the wondering

by Julie Adams

it gets me every time;
my pulse warms up
ideas swarm round
and I've found
it is the wondering that leads
to the crossroads,
every junction
in our hyper-conjunctive
living
but we are nothing
if we are not connected;
our humanity is
our salvation

Sometimes I think our salvation is also our undoing. I love the route this poem uses to get to me.

Some of us never see a different direction. Always the same route to work or home, always the same thing ordered in the same restaurant, etc. Nice write lady.

This is brilliant and wise. I always try to use my humanity but a good reminder, such as this, never hurts.

It is the wandering of this piece that leads me to salivation as lines intersect to positive effect
makes me want to be saved :>
