this is my stop by Charlie Morganholding court in my mind, my space;
i found the world [its people] guilty;
for impending doom. i closed that book
and all its influences on me. sat.
the face of time greeted me from its
reverse side, the back of the mirror.
a safety net, sagging to accept my fall;
sags still, awaiting gravity's ever-pull
on everything under the Sun; kept this one open.
i looked up, it was my station in life; though,
fecund with desire and need; still, and yet, i will beg
your leave as i trip-a-long, deluded, ignorant, happy. 09/23/2011 Posted on 09/23/2011 Copyright © 2026 Charlie Morgan
