this is my stop

by Charlie Morgan

holding court in my mind, my space;
i found the world [its people] guilty;

for impending doom. i closed that book
and all its influences on me. sat.

the face of time greeted me from its
reverse side, the back of the mirror.

a safety net, sagging to accept my fall;
sags still, awaiting gravity's ever-pull

on everything under the Sun; kept this one open.

i looked up, it was my station in life; though,
fecund with desire and need; still, and yet, i will beg
your leave as i trip-a-long, deluded, ignorant, happy.

Very nice write Charlie. And are we not all ignorant and deluded, those who don't know it are are probably deluded the most.

This is such an interesting topic to write about and I can think of nobody finer than you to write about it; nicely done, Charlie.
