September 6

by Meghan Helmich

In my dream you called me a broad
and I liked it.
You lit my cigarette in silence,
watched me lick my lips.
When your hands came around
my body shook,
Breathing shallowed.
You kissed me
with your collar up and a hand
around my neck.

Whether about the poem or the potential within it, this is definitely something already.
