So Call Me Again

by Joe Cramer

So call me again
when you need a ride
from here to there,
I guess anywhere
because that's all
I seem to be.
This life has not
turned out
like I thought it
might.
Be careful,
one day soon
I'll be gone.

Isn't that the truth Joe? Sometimes it does see, as though we are just a ride or a loan office to youngones who forget all about the loan once they've spent the money. And one day... Good write.

Awww, very sad, but true. Don't worry--she's going to learn to appreciate your worth in it's entirity before it's too late; we all do. *HUGS*

Thought it was about a lover and not a daughter. Very truthful - one day she will appreciate all the things you do. 15 is an egocentric age where you do not realize the meaning - or meaninglessness - of those around you.
