Daresay

by Prateek Segal

I daresay desolates are happier than me Taken from them, their possessions may be So they roam on earth, freely I hold my dominion on sufficiency Thus, it also binds me. I daresay desolates are happier than me They have hot and cold whenever mother nature agrees, Here, I fared with my creations and have the mother paid the fee. I daresay desolates are happier than me They have been on winds, drank the rains and ate directly from the tree. I, here, became the master, tamed the winds and have everything seen. I daresay desolates are happier than me Played have them with crinkles of earth, discussed they seasons, with the seas I have moulded the earth, as I need and seas are useless, if I can foresee I daresay desolates are happier than me freely they have lived, and die will they, free. I live with commitments, and death is a compromise with my efficiency. I daresay desolates are happier than me.
