Something about revisiting the same thing over and over and by Jolie JordanLimb to limb
yours might as well be broken
give me the pieces back, bastard.
LA has the skyline I love,
but back home
the northern lights shine brighter
than your dim eyes.
I can't convince you of anything,
even more, I shouldn't have to.
It's been three years
by now you should be older, wiser, right?
So when I tell you I'm over it,
it isn't a joke, or let's forget these whiskeylips tonight--
they might be wet, but they aren't telling lies. 08/25/2011 Posted on 08/25/2011 Copyright © 2025 Jolie Jordan

| Posted by Steven Kenworthy on 08/26/11 at 02:31 AM glad to see you writing again...this is bittersweet, well-written but like a gentle punch in the stomach without the staredown to go with. like an acidic tear of sorts...well done young lady. xx |
