than any man or woman
any person, big or small
who tells you you are not great at all.
You are greater
than fears and doubts
wrong decisions and shame.
No, you have greatness to your name.
You are greater
than you think.
No matter how much you tell yourself no,
your greatness continues to grow.
You are greater
than lies, sadness and regret.
Please forgive yourself
because your greatness is a threat.
A threat to you
because you don't comprehend
the greatness that you have,
is destroyed in your own hands.
You are greater
than your self deprecation
you are stronger than
self mutilation.
Never forget
the greatness you hold
because if you don't believe
no one else is sold.

This is a lovely work and I'll refer back to it, too, when I need some encouragement as well. Nicely done, and thank you; just what I needed to hear/read today. |
