Machiavellian Girl (Part 1)

by Razel Davies

She walked in,
to my life.
all talked trouble,
and then strife.
Then I saw it,
a burning flame.
A secret hidden,
was to blame.

Looking deep hard,
I peered in.
There something more,
Hint of some sin.
Feeling intrigued,
I had to explore.
Under flicker I saw,
A Machiavellian corps.

Raw and untrained,
but oh the strength.
She'd get her way,
by any length.
So few would see,
but my eye could.
By Her design,
they misunderstood.

Bruised I fell,
for Her so hard.
I knew from Her,
I'd be scarred.
My own plans,
I'd devise.
To win that flame,
no compromise.
