There is a sound,
a quality, a timbre
to your voice
that leaves me without choice
but to love you.
I long to hear this melodic chime
of such rich intonations
that eave me breathless,
restless, devoid of thought and action.
This satisfaction
comes from your sweet lips
that I long to press
next to mine.
All from a sound.
