the poets' fallacy by Charlie Morgana poet sits; becomes part of the fallacy;
the pathetic fallacy, our essentials for life;
a posit made on the waters of emotion, wanting
to be understood, yes, the message too;
paramount is how you get from nowhere to here.
a trek, made difficult by the hard prickles of
the orb as they seem to own individual opinion,
projectile-promoting the most vivid explanation.
and with adornment of developed hyperbole, metaphor,
angst-filled,true pathos, truly patheticly driven.
the poet assigns herself to say that something;
and say it better, more humanely, more original
than has ever been said, though fallacious itself.
a sojourn of the old brain, cortex and neocortex,
perpetuation disguises itself as language, our
developmental deportment guides us for we are
the actors, the play, audience, critic and tomorrw's
headlines; sign posts not read as we hurtle through
space many thousands of miles per second and
we all feel and act like we're standing still. 07/17/2011 Posted on 07/17/2011 Copyright © 2026 Charlie Morgan
