no time to cover Jesus

by Charlie Morgan

what other ways can i save,
not at the grocer or store;
i want to save that moment.
the one that made-up yesterday.

the one where he deduced that
if people get old, then older,
then die; he asks 'papaw, you
gonna stay your age? i say no.

'papaw, that means my parents
will die, then i'll be alone,
that makes me sad. i wince, say
yeah bud, but everybody dies.

that's why God made us,
to have each other.

Small children ask tough questions that need answers. I loved every word. Your relationship with your Grandson is so precious. You're a great GRandpa.
