Profound Melancholy by Joe CramerIt just becomes so very blue
in such a state of profound melancholy.
Never knowing what it is I should do
when lost emotion becomes simply folly.
I cry out, loudly in the night,
longing for an escape from this malaise.
Never learning as to what is wrong or right,
this profound melancholy is the sum of my days. 02/17/2008 Posted on 07/08/2011 Copyright © 2025 Joe Cramer

Posted by Mo Couts on 07/08/11 at 03:04 PM What a very sad poem, Joe! However, you pulled off the message of sadness without it seeming corny or forced, which is something that can often occur with rhymers (which I love by the way and just try hard to avoid that issue with myself!) |
