carried away

by Charlie Morgan

a bong-hit carries him away;
he sees Smee dancing with the
Red Queen who punches his ticket.

and her sashay twirl ends when
Peter Pan grabs her arm and cold
heart, eating the cake that says to do so.

both looking for foundations, now
found to be in the agorae that
Socrates used as chambers of wisdom,

all in ruins as Cratylus waves a finger.

Love that opening stanza. Perfect.
