One day again
I will know what it means
to have meaning.

I will wake up to the moment
in that moment
when life ceases
to just being the beats of my heart.

When all things
that could one day matter
finally do.

In that understanding
is where the bliss lies,

yet until then
bouncing around
in this pinball game of life

I will continue

to welcome the flippers
thrusting me towards
the next flicker and flash
hopefully before tilt
ends this game.
