The Stuff of Happiness

There is a world out there
That awaits each of us
As we plod along each day.
The world does include the ugly
And the beautiful aspects,
And a lot of stuff.
In that stuff,
Are features and characters
That may be defining to us,
But most stuff we will pass by
Never knowing or caring for the moment
What stuff it might have meant to us.
But in those travels each day,
You will find small bits of that stuff,
Stuff that you do stop
Stuff to take with you,
Stuff to form your memories,
Stuff to shape your life,
Stuff to make the reason for your life evident.
You will do this,
Because it is in you to do so,
And there really is no other choice,
For to stop gathering the needs and joys of your life
Is to surrender that life to just existance.
You have found this to be true.
Do not let yourself compromise your future
In the ways that are unrecoverble.
Happiness is.
It just is.
There need be no reason,
Cause
Or effect.
When you stop looking for such,
Then you will see that it was always there.
