i want to fall by Frankie SanchezNo parachute. Heart open like windsock. Arms wide like forest fire. Lungs full like children in candy store. No fear. Brain illuminated like ambulance. Mouth mimicking heart. Hands prominent as landing pads. No pressure. Eyes telling story to brain. Brain mimicking lungs. Legs strong like Stonehenge. No map. Spine like bed-frame. Voice like lighthouse. Arms like seat-belt. No looking back. Eyes wide like a twenty-four hour sunrise. Heart mimicking eyes. Hands like symphonies. Lungs like churches. Arms like band-aids. No weight. No worry. No weapons. I want to fall (for you) like that. 06/28/2011 Posted on 06/28/2011 Copyright © 2024 Frankie Sanchez

Posted by Alison McKenzie on 06/28/11 at 01:31 PM I used to fall like this. But after a time or two of it, you remember your chute, AND your vitamins. Heh. It is nice to visit what it used to be like here in your words, though, Frankie. Thank you. |
Posted by Gabriel Ricard on 06/28/11 at 09:10 PM Definitely a whole other kind of "free-fallin'." Heh. Great work, man. |
