Fathers Day

by Barbara Griffith

The stork was searching high and low
To find a place to land.
He wanted something special:
And the stork, he had a plan.

He knew this baby needed love
And a place to call a home
So he found a perfect family
Where she’d never be alone.

He had no doubts - this was the place!
The ones inside, he knew,
Would be just the thing to keep her safe
From birth until she grew.

But something more was needed
For one so tender and so small
A person much more special
To catch her should she fall

The stork had found a person
Who she would need so badly
The stork he looked and saw
This person was her Daddy.

Aww, this is so sweet! I hope that he adores it as much as you adore him :)
