Does Madness Come From a Love Not Returned

by Joe Cramer

Does madness come from a love not returned?
Will a heart falter when thusly 'tis spurned?
Where does a mind go, I ask, inquire
when unrequited love does not aspire.
Now that love has gone, is so far apart,
what will any further words still impart?
So many questions to ask on a stage
as are yet unanswered, age after age.
Could answers be found in pages of book
yet to be worth even taking a look?
Love not returned, that has left and now gone
leaves nothing but twain hearts thusly withdrawn.
Let such madness part without much ado,
to bid farewell, goodbye and then adieu.

Hi Joe. I like the title and a good question too. I think it could be quite posssible. Nicely penned....and I like the rhyme scheme..makes the words flow nice and smooth.
