love is asleep 'til awakened by
an un-nameable object of need;
each individual is given this
and i might add, so easy to lose.

careful handling is involved in this
notion of love, a totally consuming
life-long addiction; animus for each.
as a bent creek bends once again seaward.

maybe it was what felt right? he? she?
maybe it was a Tuesday? special one?
or a droll life, sparked by the fire
of want, need, affiliation, love.

sometimes sex gets in the way.
