electric

by Charlie Morgan

asking a dealer to 'hold you'
'til payday is some sort of living.

a miserable one when its been this
way for years, appears to continue;

i get a lot of exercise jumping to
conclusions and knocking-over each
and every dogma; takes energy to

resist the natural order,(in my mind)
i am bundy, son of sam, manson and
a sprinkle of Jesus. please turn away,

its not going to be a pretty sight.
have you ever seen a man going sane?

The title does this piece justice. It is compelling and quite electric. Vivid and alive. Nice write.

Good write Charlie and yes a I have. Every morning I see this face in the mirror and I have no doubt that the owner is heading rapidly in that direction. It is amazing how others either don't see it or refuse to acknowledge it. Take care.
