let's, let us sing out
in the face of danger,

and no we'll not hide
behind any masks...

although, our hearts
may truly race, therein,

just beneath our skins
and our lungs burn, hot

we'll pretend to be super
even though, we're normal

but the fear'd have us believe
that we're merely mere people

nothing but bags-o-bones
stepping to worldly beats

but we've this - one shot
at greater than - so sudden
