Mother's Day by Joan SerratelliI miss you
I wish you were here
IT's been a long,
strange journey
The kids are ok.
There is now one more-
a boy
and another on the way
another boy
The kids are grown
I would give anything for you
and Dad to be here
I'm alone Mom
and I'm ok
..just lonely
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

| Posted by Gregory O'Neill on 05/07/11 at 09:20 PM It's obvious you have many loving memories of your mother...these relationships, though removed by passing, are of the stuff that gives poetry it's needful thing. Thanks. Happy Mom's day to you. |
