Massachusetts by Steve MichaelsMom died last Friday
and life's still the same
six days in Massachusetts
Cold, wet not sane
my family's never changed from
beginning to end - focused
insensitivity
hearts without bend
I lost one friend, but refound a few others
my cousin, a bartender, and blood of John Dewar's.
I drank more scotch than leaves most men alive
surrounded by donkeys - my way to survive.
Mom died last Friday
it's still about me
we've always been selfish
Don't look at me.
