Summer adventures by Matt OdellSatisfyingly snow blind
All in the name of glory
pushed to the limit.. and then some,
The writing of an epic story.
Satisfyingly snowblind,
a hero when the story is told.
Re-living the vitality of adventure,
was it really worth what was sold?
Unsatisfying snowblind,
was the adventure worth the risk?
When you've lost something forever,
and the future is what you'll miss.
Unsatisfyingly snowblind,
I'll miss you while your gone.
Adventures can take us places,
just make sure you get back home.

It's for all my friends currently leaving for summer field work but it's also fun to think of the different definitions of the word adventure, be it personal growth, growth in a relationship, etc. I have been thinking a lot about my own life-adventure lately. Hope you all enjoy.
