Why ride the carrousel of mixed emotions floating across never ending oceans of questions and doubts my love struck heart has been through drought from lack of another soul to save me from this single mingle in my mind I question what it is that makes me stay to which my feet reply, you follow your own path as I keep moving with the guidance of the wind so that I might find that one that I am looking for. Keep my head held high and heave a deep sigh as I look to the sky and wonder why I follow those thoughts that lead me to deeper water, in over my head and I can't swim my chances seem slim but I hold my breath and try again only to find that it never ends and I sink as my body reaches the brink of destruction and as the music fades away in that dark of day I question how I reached my current state...

 ...My heart didn't miss a beat and replied, look into your own eyes and you'll realize it's not about a prize but the journey and the ride, and to my surprise I find that is correct but feels like lies as my soul continues to fly the same flight pattern above the night sky under moonlit clouds and starry eyes.
