Wilde as the Wind

by James Blaylock

Wilde as the Wind

Oscar, you were so Wilde
with all your powerful words
and your big feathered heart,

you painted a world where
people lived and breathed
so very vividly, such lives

but your life was far less fun
and you had suffered much
for all your many mistakes

and you're remembered for
all of the above - forevermore
as you carved your destiny
