to be enjoyed by Charlie Morgani want a heart as large
as my grade-school playground;
and filled with as much laughter,
screams of chasing and tagging;
the recess bell never ringing for class,
reeling my heart in. always left out to play,
i am of the children of summer: never do
we see the horizon of so many sad yesterdays,
we bounce from happy moment to happy moment
our focus fixed as the Sun goes to bed, daily. 04/21/2011 Posted on 04/22/2011 Copyright © 2026 Charlie Morgan

| Posted by Clara Mae Gregory on 04/22/11 at 01:28 AM Nice one, Charlie....I like it just because...
...it is so upbeat,bouncing me happily in the moment as I read word to word...i needed this |
| Posted by David Hill on 04/22/11 at 01:42 AM I like the image of the playground, though it actually contains many emotions, probably a couple of fights. I can hear it. Well done. |
