Sometimes in this life
I feel like a lion,
aggressive and commanding
and this usually
happens at work,
where you are that way
or you're finding another job.

Though butting heads
is a commonplace
it's the nature of the beast
and continue it shall
and does.

Other times in life
I feel like a pygmy marmoset,
diminutive and fragile
as I lay upon my couch
wondering where I went wrong
though the irony firmly in place
two lines up: 4 'w' words, oh yeah.

I am upon a change in my life
and knowing this
is almost more frightening
than the actual change.

A man with his thoughts
is sometimes the worst of recipes
only I'm not baking a pie.
