Martian Trinkets

by Johnny Crimson

Managed to sleep through the regime change
painted stars, a new flag
and white rain.

Met a mime down at the theme park
tucked his act into a soap box
Never seen a scene disappear that way
a short glimpse of the apollo astroplane.

Selling seasons down at the seashore
a mangled month, chain links
and creamed moors.

Then the sun met up with venus
said the sea was destined for cleanliness.
A shy clown shakes off his make-up
a new day, a faint sign to wake up.

Tapped my veins and sat at the theme park.
Rest my brains and sleep at the theme park.

Sometning to think about:I didn't know for sure if this word existed but it does and below it is used in a sentence: When a whole nation is roaring Patriotism at the top of its voice, I am fain to explore the cleanness of its hands and purity of its heart.

oops, meant to include the page link the quote was taken from:http://ask.reference.com/web?q=Use+cleanness+in+a+Sentence&qsrc=2892&o=101993 and this came from a word study concentrating on this page: http:dictionary.reference.com/browser/cleanness "Clean" to me, is a very interesting word, but then, I admit, I am weird.

Truly enjoyable read, especially: Met a mime down at the theme park tucked his act into a soap box Never seen a scene disappear that way a short glimpse of the apollo astroplane.
