The Cello Speaks
by James BlaylockThe Cello Speaks
sing to me, my ears long to listen,
I am acute and aware, all aglow,
with my buzz buzzing, as it hums
please my hopes and desires with
your blazing fires of enlightenment,
as your lush magic of twirling and
swirling have melted my mind into
jelly and then reforming it wholly
pluck all your maddening strings
you vixen of the stage, you toyer,
of all the boys emotions, I've seen
you burn out the hearts of weaker
and milder beings, left'em begging
