the boy stood and
stared, he had this
overwhelming desire
to dive into the depths
of an unknown and
endless abyss, black,
but other plans
had stakes on
him and his soul
so, by all rights,
he was not his
own nor could
he refuse the
invite that was
willingly taken
as nothing here
seemed to comfort
in the first place,
and time rolled on
