"I" in Ashes (Revised) by Rula ShinSEE the Sky
Behold the Birds
BE the Beloved Trees
YOU the Self-less SELF
Unmoving, undying, undone
Watch with great precision
The pattern within the pattern
Growing Infinitely small
Until the nameless Being
Vibrating deep within
Ignites a BLAZE!
Infinity to Nothing!
Nothing to LIFE!
BRILLIANCE!
BLISS!
Then...
Oh sorrowful soul!
Oh thought manifest!
Brilliance is blinding!
Source burns an imprint into my skull
The moment I depart from the moment
Life speaking through the char
A metaphor, a memory unalive
She is the dark
Energy of the mind
The Force unseen,
Unheard, unmeasured
She is One.
She is Zero.
She is the Real
And the Metaphor,
The FIRE and the ash
I push Her aside
Violently!
But Life,
Though ashes
In this fleshy urn,
BURNS!
"I" in Ashes
