a tale of two chicks

by Charlie Morgan

he went to the kitchen to carve a chicken;
another chick followed him in, clucking!

it was slice, cut, skin; one chick done!
the other chick wasn't thru with her wine.

and the Luther Vandross album had just begun
and the fireplace was roaring. one chick to go.

Very clever my friend. Two chicks indeed! And not a cannibal in sight! lol
