Dark Ages Revisited

by James Blaylock

Dark Ages Revisited

lets go forward, into the thick brush of green,
walking as would any wild creature, so mightily
-----------------------------------------------

we could get lost in the long vines, many limbs and wild berries,
but we'll swallow nothing out here but the newest air, surrounding
------------------------------------------------------------------

should this become our home away from home
or just those dark-ages that we awoke from?
