out there by Charlie Morganthe newscast was spewing; another day.
before noon already and knees hurt;
first edition of the Orwellian dictionary
hit the stands an hour ago; governments
were the first to pick-up copies;
the pony-express of love was gaining a limp;
space-time french-kisses the earth, warming it.
as i, in darkness of morn', listen to the Universe.
knowing that there is essence, meaning out there. 03/24/2011 Posted on 03/24/2011 Copyright © 2026 Charlie Morgan

| Posted by Ken Harnisch on 03/24/11 at 12:27 PM love the stanza about the Orwellian dictionary Charlie..so,so, so true! But i also love the optimism in the final lines. I cling to that foolhardiness myself and like holding on! |
